Stretching 3,984ft above Loch Tay, Ben Lawers is one of Scotland’s highest mountains. It gives its name to a whole National Nature Reserve, which includes six other Munros on the Ben Lawers and Tarmachan ranges. Walk to the summit and you’ll be rewarded with panoramic views of the rugged landscape from Glencoe to the Cairngorms.

But it’s not only hikers who’ll fall in love with the landscape – Ben Lawers is a hotspot for nature enthusiasts. It is renowned for its flora, which includes many rare and endangered arctic-alpine species. Families can discover the varied wildlife around the Edramucky Trail, enhanced by our pioneering conservation work. These hills are also rich in archaeological remains and the story of past inhabitants is revealed on the Kiltyrie Hidden History Trail.
